This unique charity run is the first of its kind in Singapore as there has never been a charity run organized by both an animal welfare organization, SOSD, and a human charity organization, Assisi Hospice, to raise funds, using a single platform. There are 3 types of run (2km dog run, 5km or 10km human run), for the participants and their furry pals to take part in, and its one of the largest charity event that The Pet’s Couture had participated in. Adopting Virtues is a fundraising adoption drive organized by a team of friends on 3rd April 2016. Unlike any traditional pet charity drive, Adopting Virtues showcases dogs as virtues in our lives. It is an adoption drive, with fundraising booths attracting a large gathering of 1000 participants including dog owners and their pets from all over Singapore. The organizers of Adopting Virtues help 7 pet shelters and organizations find new homes and families for our four legged friends, as well as raise funds. The event includes workshops with vets offering free pet care advices as well as grooming tips for your dogs.
