Argentinian Dog Stays By His Master’s Grave For Six Years   Capitán, a mutt who is some parts German Shepard, disappeared from his home in the small town of Villa Carlos Paz in the center of Argentina following the death of his owner, Miguel Guzmán, in March of 2006. For days, nobody in Guzmán’s family noticed the absence of the dog, until the family visited Miguel’s grave at a municipal cemetery.  Even though the family called to the dog, he stayed by his master’s grave. This unique charity run is the first of its kind in Singapore as there has never been a charity run organized by both an animal welfare organization, SOSD, and a human charity organization, Assisi Hospice, to raise funds, using a single platform.  There are 3 types of run (2km dog run, 5km or 10km human run), for the participants and their furry pals to take part in, and its one of the largest charity event that The Pet’s Couture had participated in.   The theme “Light Up Your Life” celebrates the mission of both charities: to heal, to bring comfort, and to bring hope to those in need.  Held on 3rd October 2015, Light Up Your Life Run invited Guest...

Jointly organized by AVA and Clubpets magazine, My Pet My Family is an event for families and animal lovers that was held at Marina Barrage on 31 October 2015.  13 animal welfare groups was present with their adoptable pets and experienced volunteers to help participants find the pawfect match!   The Pet’s Couture was privileged to dress up all the shelter dogs to greet the Guest-of-honour, Mr Lawrence Wong, Minister for National Development.  All the participating booths were given a certificate and we are very honoured to receive the plaque personally from Mr Lawrence Wong.   It was a vibrant crowd that thronged the sprawling space of the Marina Barrage, as pets’ lovers brought along a wide array of pets ranging from chameleons to parrots,...
